Holdings
He held the following of ‪ Henry V in demesne as of fee.
Calais, a tenement in the parish of St Mary the Virgin, between the messuage formerly of Ralph Crane on the east, and a messuage formerly of John Brystowe , ‘haberdassher’, on the west with the market-place on the south, held by service of 10s. and by covering a watch to defend the vill. Its annual value is 20s., above service and building expenses.

He died about ten years ago. John Philipott alias Cuttyn, his next heir as the son of Philip Cuttyn alias Sussex brother of Isabel mother of Robert, is aged 45 and more.

Since Robert’s death, Richard Bokelland , treasurer of Calais, and other officials acting for the king have occupied the tenement and taken its issues because the heir is absent across the sea.
