Elizabeth was one of the daughters of Robert son of Ebote daughter of Agnes mother of Otes Champernon . She was thus kin and one of the heirs of Otes who held by knight service of Thomas, earl of Devon , a minor in the wardship of ‪ Henry VI .

Owing to the death of Otes and the minority of Elizabeth, the following came to the hands of the king and is still there.

Doddiscombsleigh, ½ messuage, a moiety of a fifth of 1/3 manor, and the advowson of a moiety of a fifth of the church there. The tenement and advowson, annual value 5s., are held of the earl as a moiety of a fifth of ½ knight’s fee.

She died on 2 May 1427. Margaret wife of Thomas Wyse is her sister and next heir, and aged 26 and more.
