Regarding lands and tenements held of the king in dower and for life from the inheritance of Agnes, wife of John Holcombe and daughter and heir of William, and from the inheritance of John Seymour , son of Maud daughter of William and kin and other heir of William.

She held the following in dower from the inheritance of Agnes and John.
Figheldean, 1/3 manor, held of the king in chief as 1/6 knight’s fee. There is 1/3 barn, worth nothing yearly; 1/3 croft called ‘Courtclose’, worth 20d. yearly; 25 a. arable, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 4 a. meadow, worth 5s. 8d. yearly; pasture for 100 sheep, worth 9s. yearly; a several fishery, worth 2s. yearly; 4s. rent called ‘Tuthinpeny’, payable at Hockday and Martinmas by equal parts; and 42s. assize rent, payable at the four terms by equal parts, delivered by various tenants.
Salisbury, 6s. 8d. rent-seck in the city, held of no-one.
Cowesfield and Testwood,
3½ a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; and 13½ a. wood, worth nothing yearly as nothing can be sold, held of Humphrey, duke of Gloucester , service unknown; and
10s. rent, payable as above, delivered by free tenants, held of Humphrey, duke of Gloucester , service unknown.
Philepeshate’, 1/3 wood called ‘Philepeshate’, worth nothing yearly, held of Humphrey, duke of Gloucester , service unknown.
Wodehousecrofte’, 1/3 croft called ‘Wodehousecrofte’, worth 12d. yearly, held of Humphrey, duke of Gloucester , service unknown.
Wootton Rivers, 1/3 croft called ‘Ywodescrofte’, and 1/3 virgate, worth 2s. 2d. yearly, held of the duke of Gloucester , service unknown.
She died on 20 February last. Agnes wife of John Holcombe , one of her daughters, and John Seymour , her kin as the son of Maud her other daughter, are her next heirs. Agnes is aged 40 and more, and John is aged 26 and more.
