Holdings
She held the following in demesne for life from the inheritance of John son and heir of Nicholas Lye son of heir of John Lye . John son of Nicholas is a minor in the king’s wardship.
Flamstone, the manor,
granted to her by John Wroxale and Henry Schelford , clerks, with successive remainders to Thomas son of John Lye and the heirs of his body in perpetuity; to Nicholas brother of Thomas and the heirs of his body in perpetuity; and to the right heirs of John in perpetuity. The grant was made by quadripartite charter, one part of which was shown to the jurors. Thomas died without heir of his body and then Nicholas died with Agnes still living. After her death, the manor should remain to John son and heir of Nicholas, and to the heirs of his body.
Fisherton Anger, 3 cottages;
Milford, 6 cottages; and
Salisbury, 46 a. arable, 4 a. meadow, 2 messuages, and 8 cottages,
demised by Thomas Mannyng to her, Nicholas, and to the heirs of Nicholas’s body in perpetuity. Nicholas is now dead, and John is his son and next heir.
