the manor of Woodhouse
and
the free borough of West Alvington,
held of John Dynham, esquire , service unknown. Long before his death, he demised them to Thomas Gille , still living, for life by service of £26 yearly to him and his heirs at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts. Afterwards, by a charter shown to the jurors, he granted reversion of the manor and borough to Robert Criklade , Nicholas Wotton , and to their heirs and assigns in perpetuity. Thomas Gille attorned to them by paying the rent. Afterwards, by a charter shown to the jurors, Robert and Nicholas granted the reversion to John Wroston and Isabel his wife, still living, and to John’s heirs and assigns in perpetuity. Thomas Gille attorned to John and Isabel by paying the rent. He died seised of the rent and reversion of the manor and borough.
