Owing to the death of Thomas Coggeshale and the minority of Richard Coggeshale his son and heir, who died a minor in the king’s wardship, the following came into the hands of ‪Henry V‬ and are in those of ‪Henry VI.

Sandon, the manor, held of the king in chief of the castle of Dover by service of a knight’s fee, annual value £12 15s.
Little Baddow, 12s. rent from a tenement called Riffham’s; 12d. rent from Roger Fox ’s tenement; and 2s. 8d. rent from a tenement that Thomas Seler holds. The rents are held of Robert Darcy of his manor of Graces, service unknown.
Boreham, 10s. rent from a tenement that Walter Gardyner holds; 6d. rent from a tenement that William Redhood holds; 3s. rent from a tenement that John Bryd holds; and 20s. rent from a tenement that John Hildemare holds. The rents are held of John Borham and others of their manor of Newhall, service unknown.

He died on 9 June last. Elizabeth daughter of Thomas Coggeshale is his sister and next heir, aged 12 years and more.
