He held no lands, tenements, rents or services of the king in his demesne or in service. During his lifetime he was seised in his demesne as of fee of

80 a. land and 20 a. pasture in Wethersfield, worth 23s. 4d. yearly, held of William earl of Suffolk of his manor of Gestingthorpe by 1/4 knight’s fee, such service from time out of mind being parcel of or appurtenant to this manor. The earl now holds the manor with knights’ fees and everything belonging to the manor to himself and the male heirs of his body, reversion to the king and his heirs.
By his deed dated at Codham, 14 May 1417, and shown to the jurors, he granted the land and pasture to Margaret Bateman , Hugh Lutrell and Roger Aston , knights, Thomas Crosby, clerk , and John Sumpter , who survive, and Richard Clyfford, late bishop of London , Hugh de Stafford, late Lord de Bourcher , John Haukwode and John Hende , deceased, their heirs and assigns. They were seised, and the survivors continue in this estate.

He died on 10 March last.
