He was formerly seised of lands, tenements, rents and services in Hevenyngham, called ‘Blannchardes’ and ‘Thorpes’, in his demesne as of fee. Long before his death, by his charter shown to the jurors and dated 22 March 1425, and described as John Hevenyngham, knight, senior , he granted these, amongst others, to William Phelipp, knight , William Paston , serjeant at law, John Berneye of Reedham, esquire, senior , Thomas Kempston , Robert Rous , Thomas Berneye, esquire , John Berneye of Reedham, esquire, junior , Thomas Stodagh and John Stodagh , who all survive, and their heirs and assigns. They continued peaceably in their possession from the time of the gift and are still seised. John had no subsequent right in the holding or any part of it. The lands etc. are not held of the king in chief, but of whom, for what service or of what annual value, unknown.
He died on 22 August 1425. John Heuenyngham, knight , his son, is his next heir, aged 31 years and more.

He granted these according to the charter detailed in 559, after which he had no further right in the holding or any part of it. The lands etc. are not held of the king in chief, but of whom, for what service or of what annual value, unknown.
