Geoffrey Clopton of Clopton occupied the manor from Philip’s death, taking all issues and still does so, title unknown.

Philip and Margaret had legitimate issue John Seyntclere and Thomas, his younger brother. After Philip’s death the manors descended by virtue of the fine to their sons and male heirs John, who died a minor in the wardship of Henry V, and then Thomas his brother and heir, aged as in 88.

John, late prior of Mitcham , and William, now prior of Mitcham , took all issues of the manor from the date of his death on 14 May 1408 [CIPM XIX, no. 459] until the day of this inquisition and William still does so, title unknown. John Pelham, chevalier , took the rent in Portslade and Brighton from Philip’s death until the death of John his son and heir on 2 November 1418, title unknown. Ralph Rademede and Richard Bannebury have taken this rent since John’s death by letters patent of Henry V [CFR 1413–22, pp.285–6].
