He was seised in his demense as of fee of the manor of Sandon in which are a site with no buildings, annual value nil, 205 a. arable worth yearly 6d. an acre, 20 a. meadow worth yearly 2s. 6d. an acre, 20 a. pasture worth yearly 12d. an acre, 12 a. wood worth yearly 3s. 4d. an acre, and 40s. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions. The manor is held of the king in chief of the castle of Dover for 1 knight's fee, rendering 10s. yearly for castle-guard. He was also seised of the following: in Little Baddow: 12s. from a tenement called `Reefhames', 12d. from Roger Fox 's tenement, and 2s. 8d. from Thomas del Celer 's tenement, all held of Robert Darcy of his manor of Graces , service unknown; in Boreham: 10s. from Walter Gardiner 's tenement, 6d. from William Reedhood 's tenement, 3s. from John Bryd 's tenement, and 20s. from John Hildymar 's tenement, all held of John Boorham and others of the manor of Newhall, service unknown.

He died on 18 Feb. last. Richard Coggeshale is his son and next heir, aged 13 years and more.
