Addressed to the escheator in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. There is no endorsement and no indication whether an inquisition was produced for Bedfordshire. John, son and heir of Thomas Aylesbury, knight, who held of Henry V in chief, died a minor in the king's ward.

Because John was a minor in the king's wardship, on the death of Thomas the manor of Milton Keynes and the advowson of the church of the manor came into the king's hand, where they remain. The manor is held of the king in chief, service unknown, annual value 40 marks.

He died on 16 May last. Hugh Aylesbury is his son and next heir, aged 20 weeks and more.
