He was also seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor of Shelley, in which there are a hall with 2 chambers annexed, 2 other chambers, a chapel and 2 barns, annual value nil, 220 a. arable worth yearly 6d. an acre, 10 a. meadow worth yearly 2s. an acre, 16 a. pasture worth 12 1/2d., 10 a. wood worth 4s. an acre, and 40s. assize rents at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions. The manor is held of the king in chief by knight service of the manor of High Easter and of the duchy of Lancaster, service unknown.
He died on 22 Feb. last. Thomas de Legh is his son and next heir, aged 19 years and more.
