He held in his demesne as of fee 1/2 township of Riplington of the king in chief by service of 1/20 knight's fee of the barony of Whalton, in the king's hand by the forfeiture of Henry Lescrop, knight . The township has been totally burnt and destroyed by the Scots, annual value of the herbage 13s. 4d. He also held in his demesne as of fee a cottage in Throphill held of Ralph Euere, knight , paying 4d. yearly for all services.
He died on 8 Oct. last. Robert Hawley is his son and next heir, aged 22 years and more.
