. Long before his death by the name of John Pikeryng son of Thomas Pikeryng of Ellerton by his charter dated 12 June 1415 and shown to the jurors, he granted all the above to Peter del Hay , Thomas Urswyk , John Carleton, rector of Escrick , and Henry Randoffe .

He died on 23 March last. James Pikeryng is his son and next heir, aged 6 years on 29 Aug. last.

He was seised in his demesne as of fee of the manors of Killington, Firbank, Old Hutton with the Blease , Ulpha and Meathop. By his charter dated 12 June 1415 he granted them to the feoffees named in 550. The manors of

with and the hamlets of the manor are held of Thomas Par of the manor of Kendal by homage and service of 12d. yearly, annual value 20 marks. The manor of and the are held of John, duke of Bedford , in socage by service of 1d., annual value £10. The manor of with is held of John de Bethum, knight , of his manor of Beetham in socage by service of 2s., annual value 10 marks.
