He died on 25 April 1417. Joan wife of Robert Hanley is his daughter and next heir, aged 40 years and more.
By virtue of his office John Aburhale, formerly escheator in Herefordshire , occupied the land and received the rent the first year after Thomas's death. The second year Thomas de la Hay, escheator , entered and took the profits, as did John Russell , his successor, until the taking of this inquisition.
