He held no lands in demesne of the king or another in the county, but in the time of ‪ Henry IV he was seised in demesne as of fee of a manor called Sayesbury in Sawbridgeworth, held of the king in chief by knight service, annual value £30, which he granted to Henry Merston, clerk , Peter de la Pole , and John Barnabe junior , who were still seised at the time of the taking of this inquisition.

He died on 12 Sept. last. John Heyron is his son and next heir, aged 9 years and more.
