William Frollebury , 60 years and more, held a wax candle at the font during the baptism. William Tyngewyk , 62 years and more, carried a ewer and basin from Burpham to the church. Thomas Fynmore , 59 years and more, rode with Richard Bested, esquire, deceased, from Burpham to the church and saw Thomas baptized. John Cros, junior , 56 years and more, says that unknown thieves stole his horse at Burpham. Richard Tangle , 62 years and more, carried 6 capons to the manor of Burpham and presented them to Thomas's mother Joan. Richard Shrovebury , 58 years and more, carried a pair of bottles containing a gallon of sweet wine to the manor of Burpham. Richard Stynt , 52 years and more, carried a large `cake' from the manor of Burpham to the church, where it was eaten by Thomas's godfathers, godmother, and others.
