The escheator of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire ordered to take her oath not to marry without royal licence and then to assign dower from the lands taken into the king’s hand owing to the death of her husband John Swillington, knight. Assignment to be in the presence of his heir. [CCR 1413–19, p.478].
