Jointly with his wife Anne, William Philip, knight , and his wife Joan he held the manor of Caythorpe, and the townships of Freiston, Normanton, Sudbrooke, Willoughby and 1/2 Ancaster, the manor of Westborough with the townships of Dry Doddington and Stubton, with knight's fees and advowsons, by the grant of Henry IV to hold for their lives with remainder to the heirs of their bodies, and reversion to the king failing such heirs [19 June 1408: CPR 1405-8, p. 448].
He died without heirs of his body on 25 March 1418. John, Lord Clifford , is his next heir, aged 26 years and more.
