She died on 26 July 1410. Alice formerly the wife of Dennis Lopham and now of John Rodenale , aged 49 years, Elizabeth wife of John Thorp , 47 years, Margaret wife of John Michill , citizen of London, 45 years, daughters of Cecily, and John son of John Burman , son of Joan, daughter of Cecily, aged 3 years, are her next heirs.
Dennis Lopham , John Thorp and Elizabeth, John Michill and Margaret and John Burman held and took the profits until Michaelmas 1415 when John Burman died. Then John Thorp and Elizabeth and John Michill and Margaret held half, and John Rodenale and Alice and Richard Burman, younger brother of John, held the other half, titles unknown.

Holdings
Thomas Frere , sometime husband of Cecily Ragonell , held 1 messuage called ‘Freresplace’, 178 a. arable, 10 a. meadow, 4 a. pasture, 2 a. wood and 30s. rent in Sawbridgeworth in his demesne as of fee and granted them to John Brykelesworth and his heirs. He regranted them to Thomas Frere and Cecily, then his wife, to hold to them and his heirs male with remainder to the heirs of their bodies. They held and had issue Joan now deceased and Alice who survives. Thomas died without male heirs.
Cecily survived and married Hamilton de Matcham and had 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret. Cecily held the premises on 26 July 1410. John son of John Burman of Stainby by Grantham, son of Joan, aged 3 years and Alice wife of John Rodenhale , 49 years, are heirs to the above premises. John son of John and Alice, and Elizabeth, 47 years, wife of John Thorp and Margaret, 45 years, wife of John Michell citizen of London, are next heirs to her inherited lands and tenements.
Since the death of Cecily Dennis Lopham and Alice then his wife held for 3 years. After his death Alice married John Rodenhale , who held half in right of Alice and the other half by the grant of John Burman who died on 29 Sept. 1415. Since then John Rodenhale and Alice have held, title unknown.
The messuage etc. except for 45 a. are held of Roger Lescrop, knight , of the manor of Pishiobury, service unknown, annual value 5 marks, and no more because the 45 a. are burdened with an annuity of 6s.8d. to John Thornhill and William Wilflete , clerks, payable at Shingle Hall in Sawbridgeworth by equal parts at the 4 terms, and the remainder with unknown annuities payable to Roger Lescrope at the manor of Pishiobury at the same terms.

Holdings
She held half the manor and advowson of Great Childerley in her demesne as of fee of Henry IV as a 4th part of a knight’s fee, annual value 4 marks. [Cf. CIPM XIX, no. 925].
She died on 26 July 1410. Alice who was the wife of Dennis Lopham , then aged 38 years, Elizabeth wife of John Thorp , then 36, Margaret wife of John Michill , citizen and fishmonger of London, the 3rd daughter, aged 34 and John Burman son of Joan the 4th daughter, then aged 26 [sic ], are her heirs.
Holdings
On 3 July 1410, long before her death, she granted to Dennis and Alice 6 tofts, 118 1/2 a. arable, and 8 a. meadow in Little Childerley and Lolworth; 1 1/2 a. in Great Childerley called ‘Ricardeslonde’, and 2 tofts and 18 a. in Great Childerley, Little Childerley and Lolworth, which were never parts of the manor, to hold to them and the heirs of Alice.
