The jurors were charged by the escheator by his office to inquire who received the issues of the manor from the death of Edward duke of York on 25 Oct. 1415 to 17 Nov. last, when the escheator was ordered to take the manors into the king’s hand for certain causes, with the advowsons of the parish church of Solihull and the free chapel of St Alphege in the manor together with the issues from Edward’s death. They say that Richard Beauchamp of Abergavenny received them for his own use.
