He died on 2 June last. Thomas his son and heir is aged 20 years.

His surname is Purley in the writ but Prylly (over an erasure) in the inquisition.

Thomas Chaworth, knight , has held the rent since his death by the king’s grant [Cf. CFR 1405–13, p.32, a grant made to Chaworth in 1406 of his father William Prylly's lands in Medbourne. CFR 1413-22, p. 44, is the order for livery of the rent to Peter Purley in Nov. 1413; there is no grant to Chaworth in this vol.].
