Under a fine of 1402, for which the king's licence was shown to the jurors [CP 25/1/179/90, no. 25; licence CPR 1401–5, p.106; cf. CIPM xix, no. 234], she held £39 19s. rent in Apethorpe for life with remainder to Roger the son of John her late husband and herself, for his life [no further remainders specified, though further remainders are specified in the licence itself]. John died long ago.
Isabel died on 5 Feb. last. Thomas her son and next heir is aged 19 years.
