Holdings

He held in his demesne in fee tail jointly with Joan his wife, who survives him, a 3rd part of the manor of Burradon in Coquetdale by the grant of Adam Hancok, chaplain , and William de Bilton senior , to them and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to his right heirs. It is held of Gilbert Dumframvill, knight, lord of Redesdale , by knight service, annual value 100s.

He died on 21 Oct. last. Richard de Gurlay and John Galon , his next heirs, were aged 44 years and more and 40 years and more at Easter last.
