John Hele and Agnes his wife, and Maud sister of Agnes, were lately seised of the following in demesne as of fee, in right of Agnes and Maud as kin and heirs of Christine ?Gibbes, viz. daughters of Henry, brother of Christine:

Stogursey, ... messuage(s); Durborough, 4 a. arable and 3 a. meadow, in the hundred of Whitley; Burton, 1 a. arable; and Watchet, a messuage, in the hundred of ?Williton, worth together 23s. 8d. yearly [tenure and service not specified].

They granted the above by charter to Thomas Daudeley, knight, and his heirs and assigns, so that he was seised in demesne as of fee and died thus seised. After his death the messuages, lands, and tenements descended to Fulk fitz Wareyn as kin and heir of Thomas, as the son of Fulk, a minor in royal custody.

John Hele and Henry ... occupied the premises from Thomas’s death and still occupy them and receive the issues, title unknown.
