He held in demesne as of fee a parcel of land in Over Worton, together with the advowson of the church. The parcel is the glebe of the church, annual value 1/2d., and is held of the king in grand serjeanty.

He died on 25 May 1395 . William his son and heir was aged 21 on 20 Feb. last .

Elizabeth who was the wife of William Botreaux, father of William named in the writ, has heldn927_001 since his death and still takes the profits granted for the minority by letters patent [CPR 1399–1401 , pp.205, 235].

Regarding an inquisition before John Perle, escheator of Richard II. (CIPM XVII.443) Inquire how William held the closes called ‘Brendoun’ and ‘Lemmannesfeld’ in right of Elizabeth his wife, and whether Elizabeth is dead or not; and if so, as to the date of her death, her next heir as to the close, and their age.

Trewint is held of Arthur Hamely of his manor of Allet in socage
and Penfrane of William Botreaux, a minor in the king’s ward, by rent of a grain of corn, annual value nil.

‘Reprighel’, 1 messuage and 1/2 a. Cornish, which William Scrapeday holds for life by the grant of William, the father, by the rent of a red rose at Midsummer.

Minster by the manor of Boscastle, the advowson, annual value nil because it belongs to the castle.

Penheale and Trethake, a rent of 1 grain of corn from 1 ferling, held by William Kyllyow and which he held of Stephen Trenewyll in right of Margaret his wife in socage by a rent of 1 grain of corn.

‘Stonton’, a rent of 1d. from 1 ferling which Richard Bray held of him and he of the same Stephen in right of Margaret his wife in socage.
