Holdings

He held in his demesne as of fee of the king in chief the manor of Thorpe Langton as a fortieth part of a knight’s fee, annual value 6 marks,
and 10 1/2 a. meadow in Welham called ‘le Mares’ as a twentieth part of a fee, annual value 20s.

He died on 18 Sept. 1400 . John Ayllesbury, knight , and John Knyvet are his kinsmen and heirs, John Ayllesbury being the son of Joan and John Knyvet the son of Eleanor, sisters of Ralph, father of Ralph, father of Richard, aged 60 years and more and 40 years and more.

The king has taken the profits since his death by the hands of the sheriffs and escheators.
