She died on 6 Feb. last , holding for life 1 messuage, 1 carucate, 2 a. meadow, 30s. rent, pasture for 8 oxen going with the herd of the abbot of Reading , and the pasture called Northbrook, several pasture for 300 sheep on the Down, and pasture for all manner of beasts on the common Down without rendering pannage, all belonging to the messuage and lands with other appurtenances in Blewbury; with reversion to William son and heir of William Venour , formerly citizen and grocer of London, to whom Alexander Meryng and Agnes his wife granted the reversion by a fine of 1381–2 [CP 25(1) 12/75, no. 13]. They are held of the king in chief as a quarter of a fee and by a rent of 6d. payable at the hundred of Moreton at Michaelmas; annual value 5 marks.

She held for life exactly as in the last, except that the reversion was to William Venour , Stephen Haym , Roger Ashebournham , John Caldewell, clerk , and Philip Caradelee , and the heirs of William Venour . William, Stephen, Roger, John and Philip are dead, and the reversion should be to William son of William Venour , who is aged 30 years and more.
