Holdings

He held in his demesne as of fee a moiety of a messuage, of 240 a. arable, meadow, pasture and wood and of 13s.4d. rent in Great Parndon, formerly of John Chirche , his father, deceased. The moiety of the messuage, 60 a. of the land, etc., and the moiety of the rent are held of the king in chief of the honour of Boulogne by suit at the court of the honour every three weeks; the rest is held of the countess of Hereford and of the abbot of Beeleigh , services unknown, annual value 43s.4d.

He died on 7 April last . Joan daughter of John Chirche , wife of Richard Maister , his sister and heir, is aged 32 years and more.
